Based on the preliminary release of the Czech Statistical Office the industrial production seemed to grow on a Dec/Dec basis by 2.1%, albeit if the data is adjusted by the number of working days which was higher in 2009, the daily production average is still -0.4% below last year's end. The end of 2008 is low basis of course in the midst of the world economic crisis, bit it looks that the Czech industry is not going down any more. The final release will be issued on 11 February.
