According to the Czech National Bank the Czech Republic has the highest banking costs in the region. The Czech financial analytist Scott and Rose calculated the average banking costs per customer in the region and they came up with the following ranking.According to financial analysts the banking fees in the Czech Republic are above average not just in Europe but even on global scale. The Czech banks had a revenue of €1.80 billion ($2.45 billion) from the different fees and commissions last year.
At least you get something for your money: accoring to the Doing Business survey of the World Bank, getting credit as an enterprise is as easy as in Germany. The V4 countries tend to have very high banking costs, Austrian and German-owned banks and world class service. And if your smarter than less banking-conscious corporate clients you usually can get a very good deal.
